CPU and memory status indicators for MSI MAG B650 MORTAR and 7800x3D models
I just assembled a new PC and when trying to boot it up the CPU and DRAM diagnostic lights appeared. I’ve done several checks: updated BIOS, used the MSI Pro motherboard, installed each RAM stick in its slot, tested with and without the GPU, rebooted the CPU multiple times before returning it for testing. The components I’m using are: MSI MAG B650 MORTAR (second motherboard), Ryzen 7 7800X3D (works), two 16GB Corsair Vengeance 6400 Saphire 7900 XTX units (functioned in my old machine). Please let me know if anyone has experience with this setup. I’m considering the PSU might be the issue, but I’m not sure.
I haven’t configured any expo, and I didn’t receive any results from my PC, whether using the GPU or built-in graphics. I thought it wouldn’t cause a problem since my RAM’s clock isn’t being set too high.
Both boards were using the identical CPU. The CPU is now being returned to me, and once received I’ll attempt to proceed.
I didn't expect this since I wasn't receiving any video output and EXPO wasn't activated initially.
If you haven't configured anything yet, it's likely not set. Consider using just one RAM stick for both A2 and B2 slots.
