My CPU and memory lights are consistently solid red. I've tried reseating the CPU, installing new RAM, getting a new CPU, replacing the motherboard, checking the wires, unplugging and replugging them, but nothing has resolved the issue.

New setup? Your current system was working fine before; the issue started after turning it on. Could you send a photo of your PC without the side panel so I can inspect the problem? Have you verified the 4-pin CPU power connector at the top left, facing the motherboard?

I removed the motherboard from the case and used a screwdriver to power it on. The CPU light came on and off, then the VGA turned on and off before entering BIOS. I’m not sure if it’s working, but hopefully it will. Updated February 9, 2024 by scoober

When the motherboard came out of its case, it started up. Make sure the standoffs are in the right places. Check if any metal is touching the back of the motherboard, which could cause a short circuit and stop it from working.
