Your BIOS version is 4002. The Ryzen 5 5600 claims it's "validated since 3211" on the motherboard site. Check if your CPU meets the system requirements listed there before updating your BIOS.

You don't require a BIOS upgrade. 4002 follows 3211. I looked for the PRIME B450M-A II you mentioned.

I concur that the 5600 may perform significantly better in specific games when used with a high-performance graphics card.
