CPU activity increases suddenly Usage patterns show rapid changes Performance dips or surges unexpectedly
I operate a Ryzen 5 3600 (non-x), used it after taking a short break, and noticed two cores suddenly using high load. I was browsing Firefox and Word while checking Task Manager, doing some school tasks. Uncertain about the cause, but believe both cores were active on the same core but different threads—possibly due to SMT being enabled.
System background operations during downtime. I wouldn't be concerned unless the workload persisted.
