When the plastic cover is on, everything should be okay. CPUs are quite durable, and the plastic serves as a protective layer. Don’t stress too much—just pop it into the motherboard and begin gaming!

It’s actually quite strong, not as delicate as it seems. Just make sure the resistor at the bottom of the CPU isn’t dislodged.
