choose three SSDs for better performance, but opt for one big SSD instead of many small ones. For that price, go with a 10850K and a decent cooler. Or pick a 10700 if you're just gaming—both are similar in cost. What’s your main use?

The distinction between them is very small and you likely won’t see it. The 'x' versions aren’t needed either. Right now, Intel provides the stronger options, so you might want to explore that if you’re focused on getting good value.

Unless you require the inner workings of a 3700X, perhaps opt for a 5600X for a bit more...
