Remove the wooden border, place the cable behind it, then reattach the border.

It would be simpler to purchase a few Powerline adapters instead of managing the lengthy cable. Using them would also be more lasting than removing the trim completely.

It looks like a solid concept, though if the scenario matches what’s shown, it also suggests taking off the trim both on the floor and near the doors. Using cable might offer improved performance here, but if simplicity in installation is the goal, opt for power line adapters.

Are there any gaps beneath the skirting that allow you to push the wires? That’s exactly the method I used while installing mine in my basement.

I bet there is enough room between the base board and the carpet, just push it in the groove.

However, there isn't a baseboard where the door is positioned in the center that they must move through to connect one side of the hall to the other. I'd support earlier suggestions and suggest using a Powerline adapter; or MoCA adapters if both rooms have COAX TV and are linked together.

When I want to make a change, I move around the door frame. If it looks obvious, I just paint it to blend with the wall.
