It seems your 10-year-old GPU is working fine for you, showing the visual screen even though it can’t display the console screen. It’s handling the required frame rate well and should last longer if maintained properly.

Try to keep your older GPU running smoothly for now. A fresh, powerful PC will handle games better and won’t crash during launch.

I figured it out after setting up the rig five months ago. I experimented with various options in BIOS, possibly making a mistake in the settings. I reset everything to defaults, reinstalled XMP1, and applied the latest Nvidia driver update. Now everything works smoothly without crashes or strange loading issues.
