Over the next few weeks, I intended to assemble a computer and discussed processors with several individuals, resulting in considerable confusion. Initially, my strategy was to postpone building until the release of the Ryzen 3700X, but a friend advised against this, suggesting that Intel would prove superior in the long run. Consequently, I'm currently considering the 9700K and 8700K, with a slight interest in Ryzen as well. I already possess the case (H400i) and power supply (Corsair CMX650). I noticed the Cooler Master 212 received an updated version, so I’ve selected the black edition model.

Regarding those two Intel processors, should a more expensive chip offering improved cooling performance be preferable to a less costly option with adequate heat management?
