I mean the distinction in terms of ability or quality. Like comparing skills or performance.

Skillwise, in terms of communication, GN and MG are equally lacking.
I secured MG2 on my 14th win in CSGO following a two-game winning streak and strong dominance over enemies, often executing top fraggs with numerous MVP moments. After losing two matches to smurfs and a suspected cheater, I top-fragged my next game and achieved MG2 again. Don't take the rumors about GN4's matching MG's seriously—especially not MG2+. My first match against GN4 was my debut versus them, where I top-fragged 42-15, carrying my entire team to victory on the T side. Looking back, I didn’t play exceptionally well, but I relied on pre-firing spots and luck. Eventually, I’ll be moving to MGE because even at MG2 I still stand out, though I dropped to MG after two consecutive losses.
Typically in MM, beating a higher-ranked team means your actual rank was lower than theirs, or you were near your true rank. Losing signals that you weren't prepared for the MG challenge.
