Overclocking leads to increased heat, which can cause damage. This risk can be minimized by using a good cooler that lowers temperatures. As long as your cooler performs adequately, things should remain stable.

As long as you're cautious, perform stress tests, keep an eye on temperatures, and gradually increase overclocking, you should be fine with a decent cooler!

when you increase the clock speed and maintain proper cooling (either air or water), the overclocked processor or graphics card won't harm the chipset as long as the temperature stays under 80 degrees Celsius during heavy use.
