Could the USB-C connection be delivering reduced performance?
I was using my DJ Deck connected through USB-C to USB-C on my PC's back port. After a few days, I tried plugging it in again but it stopped working. I checked the Windows USB selective suspend option, but couldn't resolve the issue. When I connected my phone via the cable, it charged quickly and Windows recognized it, making the port active. However, it wasn't supplying enough power for the deck to operate. Could there be a BIOS setting I should adjust? I updated my PC recently, and I suspect a change might have occurred. My MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX is running on Windows 10, and the deck functions properly on my work laptop, so it seems the device or cable isn't faulty. Thanks in advance.
It seems to be a Kontrol S2 model. The device reacts differently depending on the USB ports you connect, possibly due to a power preference issue. Sometimes the LEDs dim or the MIDI connection drops, but it works fine when powered separately. If your controller supports external power, that would be ideal.
