I don’t see if this topic fits your forum. It looks like you’re having trouble locating a driver for the audio device and also needing a battery driver since it’s charging but not staying connected when unplugged. You’re using Windows 8.1, and you don’t want me to suggest switching to Windows 10.

Check if the drivers listed apply to this model. The site mentions "Windows 10," but installation could still happen.

Just H, I attempted the Win10 drivers, a few worked while most didn’t install properly. I’m unsure what’s happening and need a safe source for version 8.1.

It seems most Windows 10 apps should work with Windows 11, but there might be a problem beyond the basic setup. Let's check the rest of your installation.

Visit the official site for downloads. The software supports very old systems like XP. It doesn’t require a keyboard or battery, and the touchpad functions without additional drivers—so issues might point to hardware faults.

Someone mentioned I was using Windows 11? I’ll give it a shot. I don’t agree; back then, I usually needed a driver for each OS to function properly inside the system. The keyboard works in BIOS, but for an OS I often had to download a driver (except for Windows 10). Got it
