Hello everyone, I'm facing a puzzling issue here. My Dell Precision T5500 isn't connecting to my Dell 1912H monitor. The specs are listed: Intel Xeon E5606, 12GB DDR3 RAM, 1 GB HDD, and a few other components. I'm using a display port/VGA adapter to connect the PC to the monitor at the VGA end. It's showing BIOS info on other monitors but not mine. I've tried resetting the BIOS, changing the CMOS battery, reinstalling RAM, updating drivers, and even switching to DVI. Plus, the monitor displays diagnostic light codes. The codes mean something about routine system activity after video setup, but I'm not sure what they signify. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This suggests the system functions properly, only the display isn't showing the issue. Are there graphics cards that support native VGA output? The problem could stem from a mismatch between the monitor and the VGA adapter.

Sorry to hear that. It seems you're having trouble with your current VGA/DP adapter and its compatibility across devices. You might want to consider using a different branded cable or adaptor next.
