Checking out an X5670 with 16GB DDR3 and an RX 580 setup. Looking for a CPU upgrade near that price, aiming for smooth performance with X4 Foundations and high FPS. Need some solid recommendations!

Overclocking CPUs at 1366 units works well, delivering solid performance. For best results, stick to third-generation Ryzen with at least three cores. Otherwise, you're missing a lot of value from the upgrade. The 3200G runs on the second-generation Zen+ chip and only has four cores, which isn't great for gaming.
