Hi there.
I’m looking for some PC platformer recommendations for your kids who are enjoying A Hat in Time. Could you suggest a few more couch co-op titles or general coop games they might like? Thanks!

Battleblock Theater is always my preferred 2D platformer on the co-op side.

- Brothers: a story about two sons
- the Trine series
- BroForce
- the Ori series (uncertain if it's multiplayer)
- the Metal Slug series
- Overcooked
- the Rayman series
- the platform Tomb Raider collection
- the Worms series
- the platform Halo collection
Sorry I don't remember the exact titles of the Halo and TR games.

It's just the first game to come to my mind for this purpose! Friendly to beginners and advanced players.. Lots of levels and a great sense of humor!
Speaking of which.. Portal! (I know 2 is great for coop, not sure about 1) are also great coop platformer games, with a larger focus on puzzles too.
I would totally go ahead and recommend Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Subspace Emmisary right now, but the request was PC games..

Guacamelee games offer excellent co-op play, plus a bonus for Trine.

Brawlhalla would be a great choice, especially for younger siblings. It's also free. I'd also suggest any Lego game, Cuphead, Human Fall Flat, Gang Beasts, Castle Crashers and similar titles—among the best in gaming overall, like Ultimate Chicken Horse.

Castle Crashers offers enjoyable experiences. Most blood effects can be turned off when playing with younger children.
