Corsair Vengeance works with Z690-A motherboards.
New setup ready, details below for reference. Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO SL 3600 32GB (2x16) paired with ROG Strix Z690-A Gaming WIFI D4. ASUS doesn’t list compatibility, but Corsair confirms it works. Despite this, I see an orange indicator on my motherboard and have already changed everything, tried various setups, but I’m out of budget for more RAM or can’t test new ones. The BIOS isn’t visible either, so I can’t verify if the RAM is recognized. Build list includes ROG Strix Z690-A Gaming WIFI D4, Intel i9-13900KF, Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO SL 3600 32GB (2x16), Gigabyte GeForce RTX3080-Ti, and Corsair HX1000 Platinum PSU.
The board lacks an orange debug LED; it appears red, yellow, or possibly none of them are active together. If present, it's likely one of the four debug LEDs in the top-right corner. To resolve the issue, update the BIOS using BIOS flashback. As a Z690 board with a Raptor Lake CPU, an outdated BIOS could trigger the debug LED.
It's a Q-LED issue, near the DRAM silkscreen. I'm planning to update the BIOS and see if it resolves it.
