I took a close look at my desoldering project and spent around seven hours removing and cleaning everything. After reassembling it, it functioned properly for about thirty minutes before behaving erratically—typing random characters and taking over 3000 screenshots in just five seconds. I had to take it apart again, using a new desoldering pump this time, and cleaned everything thoroughly. Now the unexpected behavior persists, especially with the F1 key and number pad not responding, while the RGB display is malfunctioning. The voltage readings are inconsistent too—some keys show about 300mV, but non-functional keys read zero. I’m unsure what to try next.
