Hi guys!
I'm setting up a gaming PC from scratch and facing a choice between Corsair H115i and Cryorig R1 Universal for cooling. I like the appearance of the Corsair H115i but have worries about leaks after reading some forum discussions about AIOs leaking. I’m curious about how much I can expect to overclock the i7 7700k with the Cryorig R1 Universal. I know overclocking depends on both the chip and cooling, but I’d like a rough estimate. Also, if anyone can ease my concerns about the Corsair H115i, I’d really prefer that option. The thought of it leaking and ruining my $2000+ build is a bit scary. Thanks for any help!

It is always possible for any water cooler to leak but pretty rare. When an AIO dies it is far more common that the pump dies and stops moving coolant. If you prefer the look of the h115i no reason not to get it.
