Is the additional cost justified for the GT model of the h110i? Will it pair well with the i7 6700k CPU boosted to 4.6ghz, or is the standard h110i sufficient? Also, what are the key distinctions between these two coolers?

For the sake of the god, you can obtain the GT at the cost of the H110i simple. Check these links:
https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Extreme-P...sair+h115i
and here https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Extreme-P...sair+h110i.
They match in price, but the H115i is the newer model, rebranded from an H110i...

They don't justify the cost compared to high-quality CPU air coolers unless you're willing to spend over 140 dollars on all-in-one liquid coolers.

Try model h115i, it's an h110i GT but more affordable.

The variations lie in the pump and fans. The GT/GTX versions feature a distinct heat plate that enhances heat dissipation from the CPU more effectively. This is complemented by a quieter pump and more efficient fans, resulting in a cooler and improved cooling setup.
Choosing an AIO solution makes sense because Big Air Coolers tend to be bulky and may harm the motherboard. The pump or cooling plate is lighter, with the bulk supported by the case rather than around the CPU socket.
I own the H100i GTX model and believe it operates more quietly than the standard version. This assessment comes from firsthand experience building my son’s PC with the H100i.
Each option can handle overclocking, but the key difference is the quietness of performance.

For a bit more cash, Swiftech H220. Otherwise, decent air for anything under $140.
You never really think about these 'AIO cooler A vs. AIO cooler B' situations? It's similar to the 20th one.

For a bit more budget, Swiftech H220 is an option. Otherwise, good air quality for anything under $140 works fine.
Don't you often compare 'AIO cooler A vs. AIO cooler B' situations? This is similar to the 20th one.
I understand that the h220 from Swiftech outperforms Corsair coolers. However, I have OCD and prefer sticking to one brand for all my parts—except the SSD.
Also, I've done a lot of research on the H110i GT and it seems the GT version is significantly better. So, let's go back to the main question: H110i GT or standard H110i?
