The price difference between the two coolers is nearly 100 euros in my country. I’m considering upgrading my CPU to 4.4GHz, but I’m okay with at least 4.2Ghz. This is my first gaming/editing PC, and these are the details: CPU I7-6700k, GPU Asus dual 1070 OC, motherboard MSI z170a tomahawk, RAM Gskill 16gb (2x8) DDR4 2400mhz, case Zalman Z9 Neo. It really depends on your requirements water cooling is quiet while fans can be loud. Water loops can leak over time whereas fans don't. I use the 212 personally for my fx 6300 which I have OC'd to 4.8Ghz and I've never had to worry about overheating.
