Corsair 750E new PC setup frequently experiences crashes when under stress.
I recently assembled my initial PC and it functioned properly until a tough game triggered a shutdown followed by a restart. Reducing the GPU voltage resolved the problem, though the 6700XT didn’t reach 40FPS even at lower settings. RAM checks passed and temperatures looked normal. After swapping the motherboard, the issue persisted. Is replacing the power supply the sole solution?
RAM is a 32GB package (two 16GB modules) built for G.Skill Ripjaws 3200mhz DDR4. It fits correctly in dual-channel slots. The CPU pairs with an Intel Core i5-12600K. The motherboard is MSI PRO B760-P WI-FI DDR4 (model MS 7D98). The BIOS version is E7D98IMS.1D0, last updated on September 26, 2024. I attempted a update but only the current version was available online, so I didn’t flash it. Updated March 1, 2025 by FinancialZero5 – noted RAM placement was correct.
