For those encountering a failed W10 update code 80240020, a solution was discovered on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/windows/comment...o_install/. Simply navigate to the C drive, Windows folder, Software Distribution, and the Download section. Clear everything inside that directory. Next, open Command Prompt, type wuauclt.exe /updatenow, and W10 should begin downloading from the updates area anew.
