Hey, it sounds like your friend’s CPU has a special setting where the Uncore Frequency is set to half of the DRAM frequency. This can happen if the BIOS or chipset is configured that way. It’s not inherently bad, but it might affect performance or stability depending on the motherboard and chipset. You can check the BIOS settings to confirm how it’s set, and if needed, adjust it to match the intended configuration.

This specifies the double data rate configuration for DDR memory.

It seems the DRAM speed matches the uncore clock frequency on your PC.

I own the identical issue. Purchased a Lenovo Legion 5 with 16GB 3200MHz, also bought a HyperX 32GB unit at 3200MHz, and the uncore frequency is noted as half of what it was originally. (referenced file). All other aspects appear consistent—same DRAM speed and very comparable timings (just a bit quicker tRAS). Only the uncore frequency is reduced to half.

The uncore frequency appears to vary significantly and is notably higher than your drama frequency. This could be due to environmental factors, equipment settings, or interference sources affecting the uncore region.

This statement suggests that you want a clear breakdown of what is being asked. Essentially, it means you're looking for an explanation of the request or idea presented.

With Ryzen 7 Zen3, the uncore frequency equals the clock frequency of the DRAM. For optimal performance, they should match.

It's simply seven times greater.

Everything looks fine, both options match. It's unclear what you're asking about unless it relates to infinity fabric.
