Hi, I'm working on overclocking my I5 13600KF with an MSI Z790 board. HWiNFO64 indicates the IA cores are clipped because of Thermal Velocity Boost errors, and the clock speed is usually around 4800GHz. I've already boosted it to 5600 at 1.27V, but temperatures only reach 81°C during Cinebench 2024. Speedstep, speedshift, and hyperthreading are disabled. TVB is turned off in BIOS, and even with MSI's Turbo mode set to 5200, throttling occurs at a max core temp of 72°C when TVB is off. The stock MSI settings are also causing issues. Any advice would be great.

Refresh your update with complete hardware details and operating system specifics. Provide power supply information: voltage output, brand, model, wattage, age, and condition (new, used, refurbished). Mention any past heavy gaming usage. List all storage devices, including manufacturer, model, and capacity, noting current usage levels. Clarify the reasons for overclocking and the anticipated performance improvements.

I worked on it several days before asking, but this morning I had fresh insights and achieved a steady 5.7GHz performance, 4.3 ecores at 1.295V with an 83-degree temperature on Cinebench. 60 seconds in Iracing and 70 seconds in Project Cars 2. I performed a clean overclock beginning from the default configuration (without Turbo). I adjusted the clock speed, voltage, enabled BCLK lock at 100mhz, disabled hyperthreading and speedstep, configured fan curves, and capped power usage at 181W. That should be it. My previous failed overclock attempts started with MSI Turbo settings and tried to modify from there.
