for an affordable yet reliable cooler suitable even for light-medium overclocking...liquid cooling isn't necessary unless you intend a major overclock. It won't significantly aid in everyday activities. I'm assuming you're not doing gaming, video encoding decoding, or 3d modeling, which is why.

the ASUS P5G41T-M LX3 and MSI G41M-P26 are compatible options, though the GA-G41MT-S2PT might not be ideal for them.

Overclocking can damage the CPU, motherboard, and power supply faster. If your mom is mainly using email, web browsing, and word processing, she’d gain more from installing an SSD than from overclocking the CPU. In fact, she’d likely achieve greater performance improvements with an SSD than with almost anything else, provided you have at least 8GB of RAM.

Nick_PC is asking if the boards he provided can be overclocked. He wants a liquid cooler but is unsure if it's necessary. He asks for an air cooler recommendation if that's not needed. He mentions his previous post and says he's out of options. He suggests the Dell SFF PC as a good alternative, noting it performs well at a similar cost and offers better cooling and quiet operation. He advises sticking with the Dell model to avoid worse results and wasting time.

That involves constructing with an outdated CPU. Seeking components that are similar and affordable. This setup is old enough that some parts are difficult to locate, and especially new ones can be quite costly. It might be beneficial to think about what Rhysaim mentioned regarding opting for a budget prebuilt option. The items I mentioned were just the most affordable, so you should search online for ASUS P5G41T-M LX3, MSI G41M-P26 and look for the closest one that fits your budget.
