You're wondering if restoring the original folder is still an option after copying it to an external drive. If the main folder gets deleted, you could revert by copying the backup from the external drive back to C:\. Since you also created an image before the upgrade, it might be easier to revert using that instead of relying on the image.

It won’t be easier, it will require more time. Delete the old folder via disk cleanup and apply image when you need to undo changes.

Got it, this completes the task. The image should return to version 7, and it won’t be too difficult to upgrade to 10. Thanks.
