I'm unsure if I'm in the correct location, sorry for posting here. I'm thinking about getting RDR2 on Steam. Honestly, I really don't like downloading that roughly 100 GB of data. A friend of mine got a copy from Epic Games, but I've heard about using Steam-Epic or vice versa. Can anyone tell if that's possible? I tried injecting GTA 5 files from another game using an installer a few years ago—data came through from Steam, and I only downloaded about 10 GB. Would it work the same way for RDR2? Thanks for your advice.

It functions properly when the directory is specified accurately at the correct place. The system may need time to verify the contents, and certain files might be updated or removed. Example path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Red Dead Redemption 2
