Cooling problem alert Omen 870-224

Hello! I own an Omen 870-224 and have been gradually improving its performance. I fully utilized the RAM, installed a 1TB SSD, and recently upgraded the CPU to a 7700k. It came with a new fan, but I couldn't install it, so I used the existing one with fresh thermal paste. Now it's beginning to overheat, and I'm not sure what's causing it. The fan still runs but then stops after I make changes in Cura. Are there any additional fans I could add to help with cooling? Thanks!

The cooling solution for the CPU is the standard fan included with the unit, model 644727-001. While adding extra fans on the case works fine, I’m just starting out and would value suggestions if possible.

I’d likely replace the CPU cooler first. Does your PC case have a full-height design or a half-height setup? And is it possible to view the interior of the case?

I recommend swapping the cooler. Could you check the supported height from the CPU socket to the case side panel (meaning the highest cooler height)? If you can't find that, please find the specifications sheet.
