Converting a DSL router into a wireless adapter (..?)
Converting a DSL router into a wireless adapter (..?)
You might look for official firmware updates from the manufacturer or trusted online repositories. Checking the device’s support page or contacting the ISP can also help.
I intended to employ this router with my 15-foot cable because I didn’t have their signal close to my PC.
You can achieve this using stock firmware by following these steps:
1. Change the wireless mode to something other than Access Point, such as "bridge" or "repeater."
2. Set the network name (SSID), channel, and password.
3. Turn off DHCP saving and restart the device; it should detect the signal and connect to your LAN ports automatically.
Find the settings menu on your router and select the wireless option. Choose the desired network name and password to configure it.
