These gadgets arrived nonfunctional. I wouldn't bother at all. If you're interested, you can set up Debian and use any server protocol you prefer (SMB, NFS, FTP, etc.). Note: OMV is compatible with Debian. https://wiki.omv-extras.org/doku.php?id=...it_install

Link it into your network and set up an SMB file share. Instantly! A basic Atom laptop can handle this easily.
