My workplace uses all windows systems running Windows 10 Pro 1803. I need to upgrade to 1809 and have a bootable drive with 1809. I'm wondering if it's worth upgrading through regular steps when the installer asks for "upgrade windows" instead of "custom install," especially since my internet speed is only 4 Mbps and I can't rely on updates. TIA

Use the bootable drive, then launch it within Windows.

Yes, you can launch it via "Autorun" to handle the rest.

Sure, I'll make sure to do it right. Let me know if you need anything else!

Wait for the update notification. Do not force the upgrade, particularly on essential systems. Windows 10 1809 includes blocks for incompatible devices. If the update isn’t applied, pushing it may cause software malfunctions, stability problems, or features to stop working.

I just completed the download for an update. It's safer to be cautious. By the way, thanks.

Select the way to enhance your system. The Microsoft tool prevents installing upgrades unless they are secure. I’m confused about the stability problems from various update approaches. Besides a few minor issues.
