I'm searching for affordable or free tools to transform 1920x1080p videos into VOB files at full resolution for DVD-5 compatibility. Previously, DVD Flick worked well, but it no longer functions on Windows 10. I require options compatible with Windows 10 and 11. Some existing solutions only support 720p conversion. I also have DVD burner software that can handle the converted files and create standard DVDs.

The primary alternative for Windows is DVDStyler. However, this involves a more intricate issue. DVDs support resolutions up to 720x576 (PAL) or 720x480 (NTSC). You can adjust the anamorphic setting to stretch the image to 1080p during playback, though the actual pixel data encoded in MPEG-2 will remain limited to 576p or 480p.
