I have an AMD Phenom II X4 955 processor and an ASRock 880GM-LE FX card. Even though I set the fan to "Cool and Quiet" in BIOS, it keeps running at full speed and is very loud. I'm using SpeedFan temporarily, but I'd like to adjust the settings so the fan runs quietly (around 35%) except during heavy tasks like gaming. What advice do others give?

with this motherboard there are no options, you must purchase a hardware fan controller. Only the CPU fan can be controlled; the 3-pin fan connected here cannot be managed. I've tried all possible solutions.
