Launch the game! Steam expects it because it meets their requirements.
Using a Microsoft-made (including Gamestop) 360 controller means it supports plug-and-play. For others, you might need to install drivers. I used version 8.1 and only enabled PnP.
I connected it, but it didn’t function. Trying to use a game during startup, even before launch, or when Steam was turned off, still didn’t work.
