Constructing a new PC with Ryzen 3600X or 3800X processors
Planning to purchase a new computer next month, I stream and play games in 1080p with an RTX 2070. I’m considering the Ryzen 5 3600X and the R7 3800X. Would the 3800X still be useful? I also use emulation for some consoles and RPCS3. It’s about $150 more than the 3600X, and I’m unsure if extra cores will make much difference. You might want some advice—why not skip the 3700X since it’s $20 cheaper at the moment?

I’d recommend the Ryzen 7 3800X as it offers significantly better efficiency compared to the 3600X. The extra cost of about $100 is worth it for the performance you get. I've been there done that with the benchmarking site. Was more or less hoping for people that have used them to chime in. Cause I can stare at that all day long and not get any closer. But hearing from others who have some experience with them.
