Hello! Your 13600k has been running hot during gaming, especially when usage hits around 25%. After replacing the cooler (MSI 360R), temperatures dropped significantly—reaching 90°C max and 40°C idle. Now it’s spiking back to 100°C in just a few runs. It seems like the cooling might be insufficient. A 360R should handle this chip well, so the issue likely lies elsewhere.

The cooler is quite old. MSI has experienced frequent coolant blockages in their AIOs recently. Check both hoses from the pump and see if they get warm—warmth suggests flow, but a blockage might still exist. Examine these connections; this could help determine if your AIO (serial number) is impacted. It seems the 240R is affected, and I suspect the 360R uses the same coolant, which could be an issue.

This cooler has been around for a while, probably used in several projects. One tube feels warm, while the other seems much cooler.

If it's an older model, the coolant could have begun to block the fins on the copper plate (pump), preventing the heat from being drawn into the flowing water. I strongly suggest checking out the two videos I shared by Greg Salazar for more guidance.

Thank you for the assistance. It seems this product was included in their recall and MSI has provided a replacement part number. I hadn't realized these issues existed!
