Constantly consuming over 8Gb of RAM, even when nothing is running. Anyone have an idea about this? Usage is around 85% during regular tasks—not just gaming.

It doesn't matter. The system often stores things in RAM and loads DLLs to speed up apps. If you really need memory, they'll release space. As long as you stay within your available RAM, that's fine. Don't stress about it.

I have two systems each with 16 GB of RAM, and I've never noticed them handling that much usage before.
