Consoles have already reduced their cost below profit margins solely to boost sales volume.

Absolutely, it sounds like an unusual move by an unknown firm aiming to acquire major players like Sony and MicroShaft. There was a similar attempt in the early 2000s that didn't succeed.

They won't, but the site seems nice, I’ll take it. Edit: The website is garbage—it’s just Watch Dogs clips.

No devices dominate their industry; each costs money regardless of sales volume. This isn’t sustainable right now, but we can’t predict what’s ahead.

No, because for $1500, I could just build my own Desktop and connect it to my TV. Besides that fact, nothing is going to kill consoles simply because of their ease of use. Linus actually explained it pretty well...

Absolutely. The compact design isn't always required and can sometimes come across as excessive. A desktop placed beside a TV case works well if you style it nicely.

They’re meant to look like mysterious black boxes playing games while hidden under the TV. The real goal is missing entirely. Instead of trying to fit into that trendy tech mold, they should focus on what matters. A compact PC can work just fine—just hide it in a case and place it near your subwoofer. Nobody will notice unless you really want to. As for calling it a console, it sounds like a 90s sitcom idea gone wrong.
