You're considering an upgrade for your current setup. The temperatures you're experiencing are typical after three years of use, especially during intense gaming sessions. The CPU specs you mentioned suggest a solid configuration, but upgrading could offer further performance gains. Comparing the 5800X and 5900X will help determine if the higher clock speeds provide noticeable benefits in your workloads.
Not worth upgrading, especially with just 3070. Just fix your thermal issues. No reason to be hitting 100c when gaming unless you installed your cooler wrong, the cooler is broken, or you have an improper OC. Especially with a 360.
I operate the aio at the beginning as a fan, handling intake and push/pull, while all bottom fans serve as intake. The sides act as exhaust, including an 80mm rear exhaust...
Everything seems to be clashing. Consider a single airflow direction. The push-pull might also be causing issues. Test with just one setting to confirm fans are aligned properly and not opposing each other on the radiator. Double-check your cooler is secure and the pump functions correctly. A stock 9700k running at 100°C in games doesn’t make sense.
