So previously, before the Windows 10 free update, I posted about whether I should try installing it or stick with Linux. I didn’t actually do it. About two weeks ago, I realized I had an old laptop running Windows 8. I connected it to my main computer, cloned its data onto the hard drive, and then installed Windows 8 on the original machine. However, I received a notification about a free Windows 8.1 upgrade around three days ago. Since we all know Windows 8.1 is superior to Windows 8, I installed it right away. Recently, I learned you can still obtain a free Windows 10 version if you meet certain accessibility requirements (link available). They’re essentially the same thing, so I did install that too. Now I’m running Windows 10 and I’m impressed by how nice it looks!
