Consider your needs when deciding between BIOS software and RealTemp for temperature monitoring.
I own a 7700k in a compact PC build (node 202) and had to remove the CPU because the motherboard monitoring tool, Ai Suite, was displaying elevated temperatures. My temperatures dropped from low to mid-80s before reaching maximum at 70. After adding Real Temp, it occasionally shows max temps around 90. This suggests a potential issue, though it’s not urgent.
Ensure both systems are active; AI Suite reports 71 degrees while RealTemp shows 85, indicating the peak is likely in the low 90s.

Uncertain if it's a sensor issue, but if you believe I should rely on the BIOS temperatures, I'll go with that.
Realtemp keeps track of individual core temperatures.
The BIOS and many other programs monitor the overall CPU temperature, which explains the slight difference in degrees.
