Check your rig settings to see if running it locally is an option, and confirm whether any drivers are available for the current version.

It isn't reliable at the moment, so avoid using it as a substitute for Windows 8.1.

Stay patient until it’s officially released. Windows 10 remains somewhat unstable.

If the drive gets damaged, you can't file a complaint with Microsoft since it's still in beta. I use it on a 320GB Cavair GP that was purchased from an HP Pavilion in 2007.

I currently run it as the primary operating system. It’s finally stable enough for daily use. However, I wouldn’t suggest it. I have a dual-boot configuration, and my mobile system serves as backups. Requires significant improvements. Perhaps for the next release. It depends on Microsoft’s progress.

Wait for the update, Windows 10 still feels rough at its core. It doesn’t have the refinement that good software requires to maintain its standard. In short, the latest preview has been a bumpy ride—each release brings more instability and bugs. The next version is better but not as smooth, and the cycle keeps repeating. Right now, there are many compatibility problems with Windows 10. I’d steer clear of using it every day until it’s officially stable.
