I’m referring to my earlier discussion about increasing my RAM from 16GB to 32GB. You currently own a Corsair Vengeance PRO 3600Mhz 18/19/19/39 (CMW16GX4M2C3600C18) unit. Would you consider adding another pair of 8GB sticks with varying latency options—like 18/22/22/42—or perhaps a different brand such as Dominator, 2x16, or another manufacturer? Thank you for your suggestions!

You're increasing memory capacity, but is it really needed? Are you processing more than 16GB of data at once?

I have three monitors... Chrome runs nonstop, plus other apps... I'm playing Escape from Tarkov, which really drains my RAM, so closing everything is necessary to avoid lag when I want smooth gameplay.

Always use the same setup to install more RAM. If not possible, aim for the closest match, though success isn't assured. You might need to adjust timing and clock settings on both devices. Personally, I’d swap your current RAM for a 2x16GB package and try selling the old one for a few dollars.

If you can't find the same setup again, I'd opt for a fresh 32GB kit and swap in the 16GB one, as @Chris Pratt mentioned. It'll require some adjustments and a bit of luck to get compatibility. Alternatively, you might be stuck with slower speeds like 2133 or 2400MHz when using different RAM modules.
