What type of WiFi router should I choose? You don’t need ultra-fast speeds because your connection isn’t that strong. Mostly I’ll use the internet via Ethernet for my PC and WiFi for my phone. WiFi 6 and 5GHz would work well if I get an Oculus Quest or similar, plus for calls on my phone. A dual-band model is a good idea too. Of course, the more affordable the better. If you have any suggestions or specific recommendations, it would be really helpful. Thanks!

The pricier routers from Asus and Netgear support adding a USB 4G (or future 5G and beyond) dongle for internet access. This is best when you have strong 4G coverage. I’d prefer a solid 4G modem plus a quality router or access point. Then only the modem needs updating if connectivity changes, leaving the router intact.
