Consider upgrading to a newer processor like the i5 9400f if you want better performance. Your current i7 4770 is older and may not keep up with modern tasks.

Are you happy with your present CPU speed? If not, think about improving it. If yes, keep using what you have.

The 9400F offers a modest improvement, essentially matching a 6 Core 6 Thread CPU. The main changes are clock speed and IPC gains, which won’t be significant. Since you’re also upgrading your motherboard and RAM, consider going with a Ryzen 5 3600 instead. Alternatively, wait for the Ryzen 4000 series release this year for a more substantial upgrade at a similar cost.
