Alright team, I’ve finally joined the forums—it’s my last option before making the tough choice about swapping RAM. Last week while running tests and cleaning dust, I thought about checking my memory setup on both my PC and laptop. My custom build uses a custom desktop, while my laptop is an MSI GF63 with Intel i5-9300H and a GTX 1050 Ti. Back then, I bought just one 8GB stick (Aegis G.Skill F4-3000C16D) and later added another (Crucial Ballistix). Now I’m here seeking advice because I can’t find anything matching my worries.
I looked at the memory specs from both systems and noticed big differences in the NB frequency and DRAM speed. The laptop runs at 3600–3800 MHz for NB and 1329.8 MHz for DRAM, while my desktop shows 1463.2 MHz for both. I’m curious if the CPU difference—one AMD, one Intel—affects this. I also checked the RAM models: G.Skill and Crucial both say DDR4-3000MHz, but their actual speeds seem to vary.
I’m not sure if these discrepancies are normal or if something went wrong during setup. I’ve tried setting them up in dual channel in BIOS, but I’m not confident they’re working well together. The brands and models I have are different from what I saw online, especially since the original seller only had G.Skill in stock.

Everything seems okay with you. The RAM is running at 2933 in dual channel mode at 16-18-18-38. All appears normal.
