It seems you're checking if it's worth moving to Windows 10. Right now you're using Windows 7 with a GTX 980 Ti and an i7-4790K, and you're also gaming there. You're curious whether Nvidia has finally fixed the drivers and improved their support.

Hold on a moment to avoid joining the long list of people discussing Windows 10 early problems.

I understand, I tried but it didn’t work. There are problems with the remaining items, so I’ll start retrieving the Windows 7 DVD and license as soon as possible.

I'll hold off until issues are resolved and full DX12 support is available.

Want a fast, sleek look with Xbox features? Go ahead. Avoid upgrades if you dislike frequent restarts from memory issues.

I would hold off, yet if you're determined, it works well most of the time, though some issues remain.

I believe I landed a good shot with Windows 10, upgraded my XPS 13 and there were no issues to see. I’ve played a bit on it (within the GPU limits) and always kept it running. Nothing to say against it.

I experienced no problems after Windows 10 Sense launched, except for a single driver crash when I turned on Shadow Play in the game. NVIDIA seemed to be the issue, though I’m not sure if it was mine. I recommend performing a clean installation.

Absolutely, everyone facing issues—let’s start fresh. A clean install should fix most problems. Updating to the latest drivers from Station Drivers is a solid next step. It’s not Windows’ responsibility if NVIDIA or AMD drivers aren’t working after the upgrade.
