Hello, I’ve just upgraded to 500Mbps with fiber optic at home. My routers are really limiting the speed, showing only 100Mbps up and down in tests. I’m eager to make the most of that bandwidth. What routers do you suggest? Around 500 AED (130-150$) I’ve been checking out the Nighthawk R7000 from Netgear, but I’m open to other options! Amazon.ae Prime is a great choice, please!

The 100mb is mainly due to the routers' 100mbps switching feature. Any router capable of reaching 1gbps on the switching side would suffice for your needs.

In reality, the switch operates independently using its own CPU for a much more basic task. The broadband performance mainly depends on the router's main CPUs and its NAT capabilities, which often pose challenges for budget-friendly models.
