Consider the ASUS PRIME B550M-A or ASUS TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS both with Wi-Fi. Your current setup includes a Ryzen 3 3300X and GTX 1650, and you plan to upgrade to the 5600X. Make sure the chosen board supports those components and offers sufficient expansion slots for your future needs. Let me know if you need more details!

I’d prefer the TUF board for its appearance, though it’s subjective. If aesthetics aren’t important, the standard board works well and saves money.

No, there are no differences about VRM.

The TUF board likely offers a superior VRM configuration, though that’s less important unless you’re aiming for overclocking. Since Ryzen processors don’t handle overclocking well, it’s probably best not to attempt it, and if you do, you’d need a much better board than what you have.

I’d choose the B550 if you intend to add a 5600X later. A few B450 models have struggled with the updates required for 5000-series compatibility, which increases the chance of future problems.

I tried setting it up at 3 3300x to 4.550ghz on the B450 GIGABYTE GAMING X, but it stopped working since the BIOS chip failed.

When you don’t require the capabilities these boards offer, purchasing them isn’t necessary.

For an OC similar to this, consider the X570 for safety. If you don’t require its extra features, there’s no need to purchase it.
